Outdoor Education 2016

Next  week all  Year 7/8 students will be taking part in our Moke Lake Camp as part of their Outdoor Education at Queenstown Primary. All students will be transported to Moke Lake by bus with parent help transporting equipment from the car park under the office. The students are being arranged into sleeping groups and will be supplied a tent from the school.

 

To ensure that the students are properly equipped for this camp we require each student to bring in their pack / gear prior to leaving as follows:

  • Room 33 and 32 (Camp1) – Friday 12 February
  • Room 31, 30 and 34(Camp2) – Tuesday 16 February

Students will need a small bag with them on the bus that will contain:

  • Cut lunch
  • Snacks
  • Water bottle
  • Medication
  • Sun hat
  • Waterproof jacket
  • Camp journal and a few pens / pencils.

They are also required to wear suitable clothing, not school uniform. Camp 2 will need to wear clothing suitable for the Mule Adventure Course.

Please ensure all items brought to camp are named clearly! Pocket knives must be approved by teachers prior to camp.
